Bridal Party Gifts - Ideas & Advice

Many Brides and Grooms give their bridal party gifts as a thank you for being a part of their special day. Here are some tips on what to give them and how much you should expect to spend.

Maid of Honor:

She has organized your bachelorette party, shopped for gowns, and most of all has always been there for you. The gift you give her should be meaningful and should be something different then the other gifts you give your bridal party. If you decide on a classic like a bracelet or neckless, personalize it with her name or a phrase that is meaningful to your relationship. Expect to pay $75-$150 for her gift.

Best Man:

From planning the bachelor party to giving a toast on your wedding day, the best man has put in a lot of work to make your wedding special. You can thank him for his efforts by giving him a gift that shows how much he means to both of you. Consider giving him a personalized watch, wallet, or his favorite whisky. Expect to spend $75-$150.

Wedding Party:

Don’t feel pressure to gift your bridal party with awesome gifts that will break the bank. They are going to love whatever you get them. When in doubt go with something that you know they will use, like a jewelry holder, flask, wine tumbler, or gift package. You can also get them accessories that you want them to use on your wedding day, like robes, jewelry, a customized bag with their name on it or a wedding day emergency kit. Expect to pay $50-$100 for their gift. The best time to give them their gift is at the rehearsal dinner or on the day of the wedding.

Don’t forget about your soon to be husband:

He has been your #1 go to for all your emotions when planning your big day. Get him something special like an engraved watch that he can wear in the future and have it remind him of the memories of the wedding day.
